Ralphs experience in the beef industry is extensive. Most people think Kansas when they think beef and thats where Ralph got his start. He grew up with farming and ranching. From Kansas he moved to Montana where the sky is bluer and the range a lot more open. The concept of open range beef seemed a natural choice and Ralph began his career in healthy, tasty beef. Throughout his career Ralph has worked in all aspects of the business that give him a unique perspective on this industry. The challenge, he says, is to provide a quality cut of beef that is tender, tasty and healthy. When Ralph learned about Italian Piedmontese cattle he knew hed found the combination that provided those three qualities. Not one to sit still Ralph moved from being a part of a natural beef company to building his own. Today he serves as President/CEO of Montana Ranch Brand, Inc. (MRB), a branded, natural production meat company that he led the founding of in December of 2004. Hes active in his community and his expertise is recognized by many including the Future Farmers of America where he judges livestock and agricultural skills competition teams. Ralph brings a wealth of knowledge to the Zanottos Downtown Market Team in their endeavor to provide the best in quality meats.
